Airline's And Unions.

Thu Jan 04, 2007 11:18 am

I am starting a job at MHT on the 15th, working for US Airways as a ramp agent. The guy who hired me (charlie) is a really nice guy but I didn't quite get exactly what he said, I know he said that it is a Union job, but he metioned 3 or 4 different unions.

So long story short does anyone know what union's go with what job's?

Not just for US Airway's but for all the carrier's?

Thank's in advance!  Big grin

Iinternational Association of Machinists (mis)represents ramp and customer service agents at United Airlines. UA mechanics, pilots and flight attendants are represented by other unions.
Airliners.net has many forums. It has spell check and search functions. Use them before posting!

Depends on the work group and airline involved. Always good to research prospective employers before being hired. This place is a great resource tool.
