What Is The Problem With IR A312 Fleet?

The ex TK A312s Iran Air bought are grounded while the ex EK A313s still fly. Is there a problem with an Iranian company sourcing parts for the engines on these as opposed to the engines on the A313s?

From what I understand the aircraft have been grounded since early summer due to the inability to get their engines overhauled.

Um... I hope I don't sound stupid/silly or anything, but what is an A312 or A313??? Last time I checked, I don't think these were produced by Airbus...  confused 

Or is this the A310-200 and -300? In that case, disregard the post!  silly

The A310-300 is I believe the extended range version of the A310.

Actually the ICAO code is A310. The 2 sub-types are not distinguished.
A310/A319/20/21/A332/3/A343/6/A388/B732/5/7/8/B742/S/4/B752/B763/B772/3/W/E145/J41/MD11/83/90
