G4's S80 At LAS

Sun Jan 07, 2007 8:54 am

i was at the airport by 11:30am and saw that an Allegiant was sitting on taxiway Alpha just in front of twy Alpha 3. it sat there for about 15 minutes, throttled half way up and sat there for another 15 minutes. my mom noticed a man was on the FO side of the plane then got in. the plane, N861GA had no callsign so ATC simply designated it 861 and the pilots requested to back to the ramp. does anyone have anymore info on that? thanx in advance

G4 is based at LAS and does their general maintenance on the ramp area east of the D gates. This is nothing unusual...

I recently flew G4 SCK-LAS-SCK, and everything was great. The staff were friendly, and the plane was clean and comfortable. I even bought some stock in them. Kudos G4!

It must've been truly nice to board a "full-sized" airliner at an underserved airport. It's reflective of the past when 737's and MD-80's served airports like SCK.
