Delta Question

Sun Jan 07, 2007 1:13 pm

Hey all,
I have several questions about Delta Service. 1. does DL have 2 meal choices in FC on domestic flights?(they used to only have one) 2. Anyone know when they'll implement the BOB program in econ? 3. How many of their 757s and 737s have the upgraded seats in them?

Thanks!

I believe it depends on your flight. ATL - west coast only gets one choice. I believe that JFK-LAX has two though. Not sure on that.

DL says they are wanting to do it. I would guess that by the end of the summer they'll have it.

NO 737's have seats with PTV's in them. I think about half the 757's have them. If you are flying JFK-west coast it should be reconfigured. If flying out of CVG, you won't get them. If flying out of ATL, it's hit and miss.
The proper term is "on final" not "on finals" bud...

I'm actually asking how many of the 737s or 757s have the leather seats yet, the PTVs don't really matter.

So I'm assuming SLC-BOS would have one choice.

I just flew Delta in First Class on OAK-SLC on the 737-800 this morning. Except for the drinks offered before the flight took off, the service mirrored the econ service. Nothing different. Same snack. Alcoholic beverages were free though, practically the only difference.

SLC-BOS has one choice of a meal in F. I took that flight about 3 weeks ago up front; meal was chicken, some type of pasta, cheesecake, roll and salad. Wasn't too bad. Snack basket came by later on in the flight.

As for leather interior, I haven't seen a 757 or 737-800 in cloth for the past year (I've done probably 10-15 segments on both 757s and 737-800s for both).

The program has been decided on. BOB in coach will be implemented on transcons beginning late Q2.

If it turns out the way I think it will, you can thank me. I was the one with the brilliant plan. But do you think I'm gonna get any credit? NOOOOOO!!!

Someone higher up in management will take all the credit with some crap about "our customers told us what they want." No they didn't, I did!
