BA Loads LHR-YYC 8Jan

Sun Jan 07, 2007 11:10 pm

I am due to fly out to YYC tomorrow and the Staff travel site lists as zero availability in all classes!!

Was wondering if someone might be able to tell me the actual booked loads as I know the staff site can be a bit misleading.

Thanks in advance.

I don't have any info on BA's flight, but it seems there are approximately 12 seats for sale right now in three open classes on Air Canada's flight 851 to YYC. You should be able to use your ID90 on AC - but be warned that even though there are 12 seats for sale, it doesn't mean there are 12 actual seats available on the flight - airlines overbook!

I don't think they'll take the BA ticket at face-value, as AC isn't a 'face-value' carrier, it's a ZM (ZED-Fare, Medium fare level) carrier, so you'll probably need a ZED-fare ticket for AC.

I had this problem last year, flying YVR-LHR. I had to get separate tickets on AC, as they wont take our ID90's at face-value.

Just checked YYC-LHR tomorrow on AC, and yes, the flight is oversold ... with many AC employees listed as well.
Just because I stopped arguing, doesn't mean I think you are right. It just means I gave up!

Thanks for the heads up on the AC flight. Unfortunately it is a little difficult to try for both due to the different terminals and similar departure time at Heathrow.
