I'm wondering if anyone out there is in the "know" about the status of MQ's E-145 structural modification to increase the max landing weight (and alleviate the dreaded weight restrictions on these flights)? I know N648 was the first to be completed in ABI several weeks ago (an now is ironically in ROW for repainting). I haven't seen anymore go in for the modification lately?....is there a problem?
I had a commuting FO today I had to deny due to a weight restriction. It's not easy explaining we have empty seats, but are unable to accommodate him to get to work.
