Seems like their new ad campaign is a lot like AA's, isn't it?

LUV is _________

Doesn't seem like they were very original in this latest new look...

You beat me to it, everybody feel free to delete my thread.

Anyway, I like the new look even though they didn't change much. I can say though that it's a little less boring compared to their old one.

Yes, you're all right, it does look very similar to that of jetBlue. Expect the press release that we are acquiring jetBlue's operations and equipment to be made public shortly.

In other news, Northwest Airlines has retired and liquidated all of its DC-9 fleet!

In all seriousness, Southwest's new website looks sharp. We excel in positively outrageous service, LUV culture, and consistent profit; nobody ever said we could slap together a decent website (until now at least), so why not borrow some new ideas? God knows that David Neeleman learned everything he knows about running a great airline right here!

I love it. Its much cleaner and it looks sharp!

As to whether it looks like www.jetblue.com ... the B6 blue cool aid is really flowing now!  Yeah sure

Blue is one of WN's primary colors and if WN's colors were red and green I dont think anyone would have said anything different.

You can see the entire progression of Southwest's site design from its debut in 1996 here: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.iflyswa.com

Enjoy!

Seems like the frontpage is all that changed. Nothing on the SWABiz site seems different which could be a good thing. The Dashboard they have makes booking and monitoring business travel very easy.

Quite the progression from the days that AOL dial-up was king to the days that many of us including myself now use Comcast hi-speed broadband.
Hopefully in the next couple of years we'll see on the destination map the cities here in the states we know they want and need to serve. Places like CVG, CLT, BOS, MSP, MEM amongst others, but also destinations in Canada like YYC, YVR, YUL or even Caribbean destinations such as SXM, or Mexico places such as CUN or PVR.

That website is the best one. They should go back to that. The front page there is clearer than most, because it is iconographic, which was the idea of a "desktop" to begin with before all those silly illustrators and designers got their hands on things and decided to reinvent how our brains work...
