Appears Stockton Airport To Go International

Tue Jan 23, 2007 1:00 pm

After reading and combing through news articles and the TV, it appears that SCK has received the go ahead for the new customs terminal to be built.

Out of curiosity...if AM does end up going to SCK and has success, does anyone see other airlines coming to the airport aside from Allegiant? F9 in express form perhaps?

I recently flew G4 SCK-LAS, and while the flight was great, the security line at SCK was 40min. and there was only one flight going out. I honestly do not think that the current system could handle two full flights at one time.

If they co-terminaled the fairs with SMF....and provided like equipment, there might be hope.

Delta to Salt Lake City and Los Angeles.
US Airways to Phoenix (tried/failed) and Las Vegas.
United to Denver.
Frontier to Denver.
Alaska to Portland and Seattle.
American to Los Angeles and DFW.
Philippines to Manila. (via Vancouver, with 5th-Freedom, the Indian population would queue up in droves.)
AeroMexico to Aguascalientes, Morelia, San Jose del Cabo, Guadalajara, Leon/Guanajuato, DF Mexico, and Cancun.
Mexicana to Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, San Jose del Cabo, Cancun, La Paz, Tijuana, Culican, Los Mochis, and Manzanillo.

JUST possibilities....not anywhere near happening, but what could be in a perfect world.
