Was just looking at arrivals for TUL this morning and noticed we had a 762 divert to here about 2am this morning. She was on the ground for a little over an hour before continuing to JFK. I am guessing medical. Anyone know?

It looks like it decided to divert to Tulsa while over southwestern Kansas. MX maybe?

If it was a pax medical issue, AMA or OKC look closer to the point where their course changed. Could those stations even handle a widebody?

i dont know if am interpreting this question correctly, but if i am, AMA handles 747s from UA once a month. 13502x300 foot runway is definitely enough for a widebody

That's why I asked "Could those stations even handle a widebody?" meaning did AA have the ground handling capability for their widebodied aircraft at those airports... Wink
