Lebanese Investors To Take Over Bmed

Wed Jan 31, 2007 7:13 am

for people saying that BD were going to take them seems the tide has changed.

British Airways franchise operator BMED is close to sealing a deal which will see Lebanese investors effectively take over the carrier and inject £30 million ($59 million) of equity.

I would approach this article with caution as the source is Airline business, which is a Monthly Industry publication, this means that the article could have been written before the period of exclusivity with the Lebanese investors finished and BMI were interested.

The date on it is 01/02/07 which hasn't happend yet so could be in the Airline Business issue that comes out before that date, which would mean it was written before this week.

Should know in the next few days exactly what will happen with BMED.
