First of all, congratulations to Linze for this extraordinary great pic!

Now here's my question: What are two Lauda 737s doing at the same time at AMS? I could imagine that the -700 in the background is performing one of the OS flights to VIE, as the Lauda 73Gs often pop up on OS scheduled flights within Europe. But what is the wingletted -800 doing here? Usually they can only be seen on charter flights to the Mediterranean (and the UK in winter)?

Maintenance? Delay?

Sebastian

Date was the 25th of January.

The B737-700 (OE-LNN) was doing the VIE-AMS-VIE leg as OS/371372, which has often a B737 type on the route.

The B737-800 (OE-LNP) was doing a charter flight on the route INN-AMS-INN. Aircraft allready arrived the 21st, so stood here for a few days.

Your welcome, and no, not leased by Transavia, it flew under it's own prefix: OS1424/9732. Don't know why and don't know for which company or travelagency or whatever...?

Okay thanks for the info Martijn. I see you work at the terminal at SPL, very nice. I used to work at SPL myself for 4 years, a wonderful place it is and I have a lot of unforgettable moments during my time at SPL, a great airport.

It is time for me to go to bed now. Speak to you later.

Groeten,

Roger

INN-AMS-INN

Oops, I should have noticed that one in INN on that day...

Still I have no idea what purpose this flight had; OS flight numbers 1xxx are usually ferry flights, 9xxx are charter flights. So it probably was a single charter with a return flight coming up in the next days/week.

Anyway, thanks for the info!
