In the local Alicante news it is said ("http://www.diarioinformacion.com/secciones/noticia.jsp?pNumEjemplar
=1947&pIdSeccion=12&pIdNoticia=599763&rand=1170825106805", in Spanish; it is also announced in the Ryanair web page) that the Ryanair representative for South Europe has presented the new flights to London-Standsted (daily), Dublin (five days a week), Pisa (four days a week), Dusseldorf (daily) and Liverpool (three days a week), all from Alicante. This decission comes after the new building joined to the present terminal has been finished (it should be recalled that it has no fingers) but in two years time the new terminal (15 fingers) will be finished. I suppose that now Murcia will be Murcia, not Murcia-Alicante. In total there are 17 airports in Spain served by Ryanair.
I foresee that in the near future, Easyjet, Thomsonfly and now Ryanair will be the ones which will have more flights and passengers from Alicante (similarly to other Spanish airports). I suppose that the next move will be to see the change from Iberia to Clickair. Will see.
