Can't argue with that! I flew many a time on the DHC-6 20+ years ago when I worked for LC and well remember some memorable take-offs and landings at LWK none quite as short as that one though. Deeply regret never being able to experience the beach landing in Barra.

That'S what the Twin Otter was designed for. However the video is a little intense. Not only did the Ditch slowed down the landing roll, it was merely the strong headwind that supported this STOL.

It is very impressive, ...although I reckon he's benefiting from maybe 30 - 40knots on the nose. You can see the wind is very strong as it gusts over those puddles of water on the approach.
