Hi Flumuc, Fludus here!

Thanks for the LTU update. Does the A330-300 make a stop at Colombo on the route to Phuket? It seems that Thailand would be out of range for the A330-300.

Do you know when they plan to phase out their 757/767 fleet?

Thanks in advance!

I think they have an only Airbus fleet with A320, A321, A330-200 and A330-300 in 2002.

I'm just curious: has LTU ever flown to San Francisco/Oakland before? It seems strange with LH flights from FRA and MUC, that LTU doesn't have a Bay Area presence. Do they still fly to LAX in the summertime?

Currently, LTU has no flights to SFO. I think they did serve it a couple of years ago.

LTU flies to LAX three times a week from Duesseldorf (DUS) this summer. It's a nonstop two-class service with B767-300ER.

hi flumuc
latest info i have is that b757 d-amuu and d-amuk
will be gone by mid August.
What i cannot understand is that since the new busses
arrive from spring 2001 how will ltu compensate for the loss of capacity (beginning in less than 20 days)?
Is leasing more b737 from Germania a solution?
I know from personall experience that public who flew ltu for many years did not like so much the 737
(they are not even painted in ltu colors).
any info greatly apreciatted
regards

Hi,

how come LTU doesn't have any longhauls from STR ?? They used to fly from STR via ZRH to Male but now they even stopped that service ?? Any reason for that ??
Wouldn't there be enough pax for LTU to fill a plane to the Carribean once a week ?

Thanks.

Thanks a lot, Flumuc!

Do you also happen to know, which flights are operated via ZRH and with which equipment? Will I see the LTU A333 at ZRH again?
