Gorge T. Baker Avation School

Does anyone have any information on Gorge T. Baker Avation school. Is it good? is it worth it?

They have a 720B, nice. Don't think it flies though, but at least you get loads of real hands-on experience with a classic jet liner.

For my money, the best flight school / institute in Miami (one of the best in the US) is the Pan Am International Flight Academy in Miami Springs, right on the apron at Miami International Airport.

i got accetped to Baker as a share-time student going to high school. At baker i am going to study General/Airframe. i plan to become a pilot ,but they dont have any flight class there . so i am going to study General/Airframe. is this a good class to take to while am in high school to become a pilot?

Actually it is a complete waste of time if you want to be a pilot.

George T Baker is for A&P's.

You should begin to focus on flight training. Start flying anyway anyhow. That maintenance traing will do nothing for you. Unless however you will get high school credit for it. Then go for it. It's better than wood shop. If your going to pay for it then don't do it.

I know several pilots with A&P licences. It comes in handy if you want to work on your own airplane.
This plane is built to withstand anything... except a bad pilot.
