If I'm not mistaken, the upgrades to AA
's Transcon 'Flagship' service are more for the soft product (ie, meals, service standards, pillows & blankets, etc) than for things like the seats. There was at one point a lot of (unsubstantiated) chatter over at Flyertalk regarding the old 767-300 First Class seats being installed on the 767-200s – however, there's really no proof to that, and it seems especially unlikely due to the fact that it would require a pretty severe reconfiguration of seating, and likely the loss of a row of Business Class seats.
Regardless, if I recall correctly what was stated in the initial press release, you should look for new seat covers (at the very least) on the seats. However, don't hold your breath for AA
to install, for instance, its new Business Class seat on the 762s.
