Well the TWA website has officially announced LAX as the Y2K focus city... however one thing that caught me off guard was that American Eagle will be flying the regional feed into LAX and not Chataqua as many of us originally believed.
So here are some questions... did the Chataqua deal at LAX fall through or was it simply delayed b/c of the need to get a regional feed operator immediately in order to keep the DCA slots?
And if the chataqua deal does/did/will fall through who will operate the regional feed out of LAX... I wouldn't imagine it to be too ideal to have Am Eagle operating these flights as I imagine they'd be operated out of American's T4 and not out of T3, what about Mesa Airlines???
And what new service will we see in the next 12 months out of LAX. Service to FLL or MCO, another Hawaii destination, flights to the 2001 focus city?
Any input on this would be welcome.
