No scheduled service, sorry man. 7000 series TZ flights are ferrys or positioning flights. Not sure where it is headed from SAN.
35 years of American Trans Air/ATA Airlines, 1973-2008. A great little airline that will not be soon forgotten.

This was posted in mid-January here on A.net:

Quote:
The san-LTO route has been transferred to Aerolitoral. They had to go through the bureaucratic process of switching the authority from Aeromexico to Aerolitoral with the DOT. They should be inserting ERJ service into schedule soon. But then again - who knows when?

As far as I know, the transfer to and approval of AeroLitoral has been done but (as usual with anything involving AM) there is no sign of anything happening yet. And of course you're asking about a SAN-MTY flight, not SAN-LTO, so my guess is it's a fishing-package charter or something like that...

BTW, I'm thinking the A TransAir could be some sort of return portion of an air/cruise package (a one week cruise-s/b-SD-ACA-and-fly-home deal.)

Wow... OK, I didn't know anything about SAN-LTO being transfered to Aerolitoral. Maybe yesterday's flight was a positioning or route familiarization flight or something... I imagine most 5D pilots have never flown SAN's runway 27 approach before.

Very possible... Normally, any ATA aircraft you see in the San Diego area is a military charter going into NKX.
