Saab 2000 In "Skins"

Sat Mar 03, 2007 12:42 am

In last night's episode of "Skins", I noticed they were flying to Russia in a Saab 2000. Was it FlyLAL? I thought I caught a glimpse of pink on the side.

Where did they do the filming? If it was a FlyLAL aircraft, is that not quite a "random" choice of airline to use, when there are so many possible planes lying around in the UK?

It must have been Polet that now operates a couple of ex Crossair/Swiss frames.

We only got a very quick glimpse of the aircraft, from an awkward angle as they disembarked, but I would agree and say it was flyLAL. The aircraft definitely had that colour and the scheme would seem to match. Agree strange choice, depends on when and where they did the filming I suppose?

The only real Russian Saab 2000s are these:

The episode was filmed in Lithuania so flyLAL seems an obvious choice.
