Strange Aircaraft At Boca Beach

Sun Mar 04, 2007 8:58 pm

I was at the Boca Raton Beach yesterday and i saw a C-47 Chinook coming from the north and a Blue Angles F-18 #7 coming from south to north then came back and made a circle then disappeared out of my sight
Anyone know why these guys were here?

The F18 may be practice for the Ft. Lauderdale airshow in May. The Chinook for something else ?

Quoting Falcon flyer (Reply 1):

No, because the Air Force Thunderbirds are up this year, as confirmed by their schedule:

Quoting http://thunderbirds.airforce.com:
May 5-6, Ft Lauderdale, Florida

...And also equally out are the Angels:

Quoting http://www.blueangels.navy.mil:
May 5-6, Offutt AFB, Nebraska

So who knows.
