ANA, JAL Planes Bump Wings At Airport In China

Mon Mar 05, 2007 4:32 pm

Did a search and didn't find anything, but it looks like the JL vs NH war has taken a new turn - even the aircraft are battling it out now.  Wink

Sorry not that informative, but if anybody has more details such as registrations, would be appreciated.

Flights ANA 114 and JAL 788 were set to depart for Central Japan International Airport in Aichi Prefecture.

Aaaaaah! (That is a Japanese Aaaa with a dip/sigh not an excited Ahhh). And at Tianjin. Why? Oh Why can't we get along.

If JL had backed up into NH, it would have been even bigger news. NH making this mistake is not half as bad as JL making it. (JL probably was not even full either.)
My name is Centrair but HND is closer. Let's Japanese Aviation!

Cant confirm. But the JAL flight should be a B767-200 bearing registration JA8232.

Surprisingly little coverage in Japan, but looks like the NH plane was an Air Nippon bird (still no registration info) and has remained in TSN. The JAL plane underwent some quick repairs and then flew to NRT on Monday night for a more thorough fix-up.

NH had a small note on their homepage apologizing to the passengers of both planes and promising to do their utmost to prevent any recurrence.

Yes, on the news, they showed the NH 737NG.

Have no idea about the registration though...
