US Unifies Res System - Kiosk Nightmare

Mon Mar 05, 2007 10:31 pm

I did a search...if this is a duplicate thread, please lock or delete.

The story is on CNN as well. Looks like things aren't going so smoothely as all of the US-East kiosks have refused to stop working. You'd think that they would have had this figured-out before the go-live date. Even Y2K (remember that??) had fewer glitches. In anycase, I wish best of luck to all US employees today as this fiasco is (unfortunately) giving US more national publicity.

I'm sure it will get resolved soon....luckily most of the old "west" cities had no problems at all. We had a great transition in TUS, except that our CO access does not work...but still, that went rather smooth as well.

Those dang kiosks!!!
