LCF (Dreamlifter Livery) Now In NGO

Sat Mar 10, 2007 6:55 pm

Just back from a day at NGO. I was very surprised to see N780BA there, the 2nd LCF, this one in the Dreamlifter livery. It was loading for most of the day and still should be there tomorrow for those of you in the area. Took lots of pics, but don't have the reader with me, so will post them after I get home tomorrow evening.

It was a great day for spotting for the most part. The LCF was sitting in the international area and had a clear line of sight from the Skydeck for most of the day. When the sun was out it was quite a view, and watching them open and close the cargo hold was fascinating. All in all, a very fortunate spotting trip for me.

Still no certification, guess this is yet another "certification flight"  banghead

Never mind, I thought you were speaking of the dream liner livery, not dream lifter

They got inspired by airbus for this very bland livery

Why would Boeing go through the high cost of painting an elaborate paint scheme on the LCF when it is a company plane? It's been sold to customers yet.

Here are a couple of pics from yesterday - nothing compared to those on the link provided by Brendows, but I said I'd post them, so here they are.

I guess the A380 shouldn't have made any of those proving flights before certification carrying all those lives and putting them a risk too, right Zeke?

Ok BOE632 from Nagoya to Boeing Field should have landed by now. I think it is carrying the wings for the 1st 787.
