Anyone Has The 777-Crosswind Landing Video?

Sun Mar 11, 2007 5:58 am

There was this cool video clip showing three 777 crosswind landings and a 744. It was a video advertising some flight school in Turkey (I think it was Turkey). The song playing in the video is 'Return to Innocence'. Anybody has a link to it? I have this urge to watch it but can't find it anywhere and I have it saved on my dasktop back home but that doesn't help me right now since I won't be home for a while.

Thanks in advance.

Heyas Norcal,

Here is a link to the video you asked about:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kWEVdEpf3yc

Also check out this topic in the Tech/Ops area, there are explinations and additional videos of aircraft performing crosswind landings: Crosswind Crab Landing VS Lowering One Wing? (by SSTsomeday Mar 8 2007 in Tech Ops)

Hope this helps,
Ryan

Woow, there it is, makes my day. Thank you very much.

The A380 crosswind landing is pretty cool too.

Patagonia, Argentina, I believe, not Turkey. The 744 is actually a 747SP.
The band playing the song "Return to Innocence" is Enigma, I think from the album "The Cross of Change".
Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.

Just because of that video, I love the song.
