PEK Question?

Mon Mar 12, 2007 6:20 am

Hey PEK People,

I know they're building a new terminal and runway at PEK, but I am wondering:
1) What are they doing to do with the current terminal once the new one opens?
2) Are they building any sort of train to connect the city with the airport?
3) Is there a website - in English - that details information about the new terminal.

Thanks,
Scott

You don't need a train to the city. The taxi's are sooo cheap!

Anyone knows when the new airport will be built? Or if they will expand PEK even more? The new terminal together with the old terminals will be able to handle 60-70 million passengers annually, but that will be reached in 2008/2009 already!!!

2003:24m
2004.34m
2005:41m
2006:49m

They expect:
2007:55m
2008:66m

The growth at PEK is something special! Soo unbelievable, and cool!  Smile
