AA 757 In MTY

Mon Mar 12, 2007 8:59 am

This weekend I visited Mexico City for the Red Hot Chili Pepper concert there. I flew MTY-TLC. I just got back home about 5 hours ago.

My question, on Saturday I saw an AA 757 flying to DFW from MTY? WTF? The biggest scheduled AA plane in MTY is the MD-80. Was the flight too much overbooked or are these guys going to send in scheduled 757's?

Any answers would be appreciated.
I'll post a trip report in a few days. By the way, I flew on Volaris and I really liked their service and attention.

Here are some pics of the 757.

Thanks again.
It's not just the destination, it's the journey.

Given that Spring Break is starting, putting a larger aircraft on it wouldn't surprise me a bit...

It was AA797 LAX-SAL. It diverted to MTY for a passenger medical emergency. In to MTY at 0605, out 0757.
