Air France 4590 Memorial Site

Wed Jul 26, 2000 9:03 am

Today's loss was very tragic, and is almost certainly devastating to anyone with even the slightest connection to Air France or those aboard.

In honor of the souls lost today, I have started a memorial site to honor them and console the family and friends of these poor victims. I know everyone involved would appreciate it a lot if you stopped by and wrote your condolences, no matter how short. I want this guestbook to show that those who lost a loved one today are *not* alone, and that the entire world is with them in mourning.

The site is located at: http://www.freeguestbooks.com/cgi-bin/view.pl?bas3q

Thank you for your time, and may God bless you.

That is a wonderful gesture to all of those who will suffer because of this accident. I'm glad that somebody is willing to do something other than just state their feelings, but that is all that is needed sometimes is for people to express their sorrow. The world lost many good people today, and along with them a great aircraft. I didn't know any of those onboard the stricken flight, but I feel like part of my heart and soul went down with the Concorde in its first ever crash. Thank you N202PA, thank you.

According to the CBS Evening News, it was flight 4590. Of course, we all know that they could be wrong about that...please correct me if I am wrong, so that I can put the appropriate title on the site if it is not already there.

For some reason, this crash has touched me personally more than most. I suppose it's because just yesterday morning, I was looking at the website dedicated to the victims of Pan Am 103, a crash that has haunted me since I was a child. The horror and the tragedy that happened over Lockerbie eleven years ago came flooding back yesterday morning, and today...this. It happened all over again.
