Plane Enthusiast Finds Sensitive MCO Documents

A teenage aviation enthusiast who was exploring the area around the warehouse two weeks ago came upon the discarded documents and collected them as a souvenir. A parent delivered the material to the Sentinel last week in the wake of recent reports about OIA security problems.

A week ago it was the Comair guys smuggling drugs/guns, and now this. Wonder if the guy who found it is a member here?

Wow, not good news for OIA. This is the second problem they've had in two weeks....

I don't know, but if he (or she) is reading this, my congrats on having parents savvy enough to stay anonymous and coordinate the return of the materials via the newspaper.

Interesting that an 'aviation enthusiast' is diving in dumpsters.

Great, last thing we need here in Orlando. It sucks they're already pretty anal about having us on property as is.

Another storm in the teacup of paranoia. How many people in the US and beyond have all or part of the current layout of MCO, its electrical systems, fuel storage arrangements, emergency procedures etc., etc., in fact everything to do with the airport.

I feel for the spokesman and the authorities who will be made to feel foolish because a situation which would never have raised an eyebrow during 40 odd years of Cold War has now, in the eyes of the fearful and those who want to sell news, become a "major security breach".

Make that three. Why do I sense a stricter spotting policy coming from MCO shortly? (Never mind the fact what this enthusiast was doing had nothing to do with spotting.)
