John Leahy A Cab Driver At JFK In The 1970s?

Tue Mar 20, 2007 9:40 am

From another thread today:
"...his speech by remarking that he was a cab driver in the 70's at JFK when the first 747s were coming in."

Is this true? Does anybody know Leahy's background? Interesting to rise from cab driver at JFK in the 1970s to Airbus executive introducing the A380 to JFK!

Is he from NY City or maybe he was going to college/university there and worked as a cabby for a while to make some money?
