CO Moving NRT Ops To Terminal 1

Tue Mar 20, 2007 9:32 pm

Just saw this small announcement on the continental.com website. It's about time!!!

This has been my biggest beef regarding CO at NRT. They listed access to NWA's World Clubs for President's Club members, but you couldn't access Terminal 1 since CO was using Terminal 2. Thank goodness this won't be a problem anymore.

The move takes effect on April 1st.

The airline terminal realignment at Narita seems to be shaping up well. Continental is moving to T1, which will bring it closer to SkyTeam partners, most importantly Northwest and its hub there. Plus, as the OP said, Continental customers will now have direct access to the Northwest lounge. Similarly, American has already moved over to T2 to be closer to JAL, and has just opened a brand new Admirals Club that is 2/3 larger than the old one.

As a skyteam member, Delta is moving as well.
The proper term is "on final" not "on finals" bud...
