Identify This Aircraft

Fri Mar 23, 2007 8:06 pm

Here's a photo I took this week in front of the SR Technics hangar at DUB. What airline is this? It looks a bit like Gulf Air, but I think it isn't. Who can help, and maybe somebody even knows the registration?

Thanks in advance, Alex.

That is a Gulf Traveller Boeing 767. Gulf Traveller is a subsidiary of Gulf Air, I think it's an all-economy operation for holiday destinations, maybe also charters.

I cant actually see the picture as my computer is on the blink but you say it looks like GF so it could well be. SRT look after them now and GF operate into DUB. That might be your answer. My dad works at SRT in Dublin so i'll ask him when I see him later and get a definite answer.

All nine GF B767-300ER in fleet were ferried to DUB for inspections after corrosion was found in the galley area of one of the aircraft. Caused absolute havoc with 25% of total fleet grounded and slowly being returned to service.

Thanks for your replies! I have heard about this airline, but I have never actually seen one of their aircraft before.

So if all nine GF 767s have been ferried to DUB, I think it's impossible to tell which one is shown on the photo? The photo was taken the day before yesterday at around noon.
