Boeing 787 - Only One Year Left!

Mon Mar 26, 2007 2:12 am

I'm very excited, because LOT Polish Airlines is going to buy 14 new Dreamliners. Is the photos of 787 cabin on Boeing website real?

Its most likely an option for airlines but like the a380's interior we will see who buys into it.

I know you are new, but the title is very misleading, or rather your post focuses on a different topic.

and One year to go till what?

Right now, they're getting 8. The rest are options and purchase rights. For now.

He probably means till EIS...specifically to LOT. Though it's a bit more than a year to go.

I noticed that the LOT posters in the terminals at MAD show the 787! I guess they are pretty excited too  Smile

In reality there are only a few months left until the July 8, 2007 (7-8-7) rollout date. Or was it 7 Aug 2007???

The photos are probably real, but these shots are made with wide-angle lenses to make the cabins look bigger than they really are. The seats may be different too, depending on how many abreast the airline opts to install, as well as which kind of seats (there are many brands).

I think that the improvements will actually be more refinements that will make flying more pleasurable, like the breathable air with more moisture and the feeling of having more space to walk around in, the psychological effect of variable cabin lighting in different colors, as well as a quieter cabin.

It's July 8, 2007. Hints the date 7-8-07 (787) Very clever if you ask me. But its more than a year til LOT gets their 787's.
Whats the likelihood that the 787 will hit 500 orders before rollout.

It's one year left... until March 26, 2008. Which has no significance for the program, AFAIK...  Wink

Have there been any new pictures from the production line lately? There was one floating around a few months ago which was a fuselage section but I haven't seen much since. I haven't gotten an e-mail from the "world design team" lately either.

You might want to check on your membership status and then the info they have for you. I got an email on 3/21, updated 787 and 748 information.  Smile
