Cx New Business Class

Mon Mar 26, 2007 7:34 pm

I am flying J class JNB to HKG in April on cx, and the plane they are using is the 343, I was wondering if anyone knows if these aircraft have been upgraded to the new seating?

I'd think the A343's would be some of the last ones on the CX fleet to get the upgrade but it's just a guess.

The first aircraft (744) with the new config has not been put into service yet. From what I understand CX is going to refit its 744s before any 340s may be refitted. So no, you won't experience the new business seat this time.

None of the aircraft in the fleet has any of the new seats yet. And Johannesburg won't be the first to get them. So bad luck. Maybe next time.

B-HKJ will have the new F and J seating first... it will be delivered to CX in 2-3 months i think.

This is a ex. SQ 747-400 powered by PW 4056 engines. It will be the 4th ex. SQ 747-400 joining the CX PAX fleet.

It will join B-HKD B-HKE B-HKF
