A-Netters On First AC 777 Revenue Flight?

Wed Mar 28, 2007 12:25 am

I am wondering how many of us are planning to be on this flight. I had thought that it was going to be AC417 YUL-YYZ on Sunday April 8. However I have just checked the schedules and they show something quite different. This is what I found:

April 5 AC406 Dep. YYZ 10:00 Arr YUL 11:15 77W
April 5 AC411 Dep. YUL 12:00 Arr YYZ 13:15 77W

April 5 appears to be the first day that mentions the 777. There are 2 or 3 round trips listed every day from April 5 through April 8. Can somebody confirm these dates and times? I would like to make this trip, but I don't want to book too soon and then find myself on a Jazz CR2!!

Sorry, I posted in another AC T7 thread (there are too many now  Silly ) I was looking at ACA412/ACA417 on saturday the 7th, but I would not go unless I knew that there would be a few of you guys coming along aswell  Smile The fare isn't much, although I still haven't made up my mind.

Cheers.

Right now I'm aiming for AC406 /411 on April 5. That's assuming they don't change equipment. Traveling on the 12th and 13th revenue flights on April 8 doesn't turn me on.

I'm basing this on the schedules published on Air Canada.ca as of 9:30 this evening (March 27/07

Just thought I might warn you guys if you are in YUL and need to talk to customer service (to convince them to let you standy for the T7 leg!), prepare for a wait at the Rapidair desk, Gate 2. The old rapidair area has been ripped up and is currently under construction. The temp area right beside it is much smaller and may be packed with people.

Unfortunately, the cheapest fare I can find (YUL-YYZ-YOW) is $224 (minus all the bag checking and change fee reductions). Too rich for my blood.
