Lcal Add To Boeing 787 Order

Thu Mar 29, 2007 6:21 pm

Boeing have confirmed another unidentified order from 2006 as being for the leasing co LCAL

SEATTLE, March 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Boeing (NYSE: BA - News) and LCAL today announced the leasing company placed an order for one additional 787-9 Dreamliner, expanding its fleet to 15 of the advanced-technology aircraft.

The deal is worth $183 million at list prices. This order was allocated to an unidentified customer on Boeing's Orders and Deliveries website in 2006.

The order is for one additional 787-9
LCAL now have 15 787s on order of which 6 are for the 787-8 and the balance the 787-9
LCAL have selected RR Trent-1000S for some of their fleet, IIRC 6 x 787-8, but have confirmed they are in negotiations with GE for the GEnx to firm the balance of their engine selection

Quoting PanAm_DC10 (Thread starter):
IIRC 6 x 787-8

I may be wrong but I think it's now 8 with RR.
