Heh. And CO might sue him for the costs of the diversion. Good for them. Hope it was good vodka!

Thankfully they are few and far between.

I did have a woman (50 something year old, pale yellow suit, dressed to the nines, sitting in Business/First) assault(punch, grab, scratch) one of my crew members over smoking in the lav. Needless to say, she was arrested and fined $10,000. I still laugh at that one. You would never have thought she was able and capable of doing it. Grandma Moses turned Rocky Balboa.

I wish I had more, I generally don't have problems onboard (maybe it's because I am a big guy and look threatening if you haven't had interaction with me). I will also lay the law down before things get out of hand too. 35,000 ft is the wrong place to behave like an ass. I try to beat them to the punch, so to speak, with a good talking.

I want all to have a good time and really make sure of it. But there is always one to test the waters. All I can say is, why bother. It's not worth it.

Positive. The old lady had regular teeth. AC has fangs.

Our flight to OSL didn't operate the 26th, the day in question.

as F/A's @ CO, do u usually only serve at 1 type of plane, or are you allowed to switch from RJ's to the 777'S????
Anyway what types of routes do u usually fly on?

Can she even fly and last long enough on an aircraft? I know she smokes like a chimney, but I've heard she can't last five minutes without a cigarette!

One reason why they are talking about banning al alcohol on flights in Russia!  laughing

Off topic - we are trained on all types (737, 757, 767 and 777). We can switch between aircaft if need be. Keeps us more flexible if there is ever a upgrade or downgrade of equipment (mind you pilots are different, as they are equipment specific). RJ's are for COEx only. I fly on the 757/767/777 and prefer the 757.

Hope it helps. If you or anyone has any questions, feel free to IM or email me. Always.

On topic, while the article wasn't all that time specific, I did a little research. It was flight 39, the 26/3, OSL-EWR.

Fine: CN$12,000. Possible billing by CO to the disruptive pax for the diversion: US$ 13,000. The look on that pax's face when he realized he was bused for his stupid beheavor: Priceless.

I do hope CO makes this jerk pay the costs of the diversion and that he rots in a Canadian jail for a while wating for bail/fine money. The more publicty given to the penalties for dangerous beheavor on an air flight, the better it will make it for everybody. I wonder how he will get home to Florida from where he was dropped off? He better warm up his thumb or get bus fare 'cause he isn't going to fly home.

FROM Newark TO Oslo.

Sorry, my mistake. Your National Newspaper wrote "Monday evening", so I assumed it was the flight to OSL since the afternoon departure from Newark would put the airplane in the vicinity of Goose Bay in the evening.
(That proves one should never assume anything as it makes an ass out of ... and me.)  tapedshut
