I've yet to see or hear anything from Express Jet in Fresno advertising their new flights. What's happening elsewhere around the country? Any examples that can be shared?

We have at least three ExpressJet aircraft painted in the new livery sitting at the northeast hangar at CLE. They've been there for close to a week, and have engine covers on.

I have seen JetExpress ads in the Arizona Daily Star that serves Tucson. No cities were indicated only the April start date.

I haven't seen anything in terms of advertising yet either. But the first flight is April 30 so I'm keeping an eye out for marketing to start next week (30 days out).

But about a week ago my travel agent said an XJet rep had been by her office. So they are beating the bushes.

I do think they should start running ads or billboards pretty soon.

This thread last month said they were working the focus cities first.

They've had a billboard up on the airport access road here at MSY for the past few weeks.

XE reps have been to GEG BOI SMF FAT, etc. offering travel agents rides on our planes. They have been using a/c 189 which was the first aircraft paiinted and equipped with XM radio. Just a little wine and dine for the travel folks.

I did some checking, this ad has been running in the print editions of the Sacramento Bee. Flights there start April 9.

Wwhen I was back home I heard a bunch of ads on the radio for Express Jet service, advertising the no middle seats and they said they were starting soon.

I saw those three planes last Monday. Are they prepositioned charter aircraft waiting for a flight?
