Great Non-rev Experience With UA

Mon Apr 02, 2007 2:37 pm

Hello all,
I just want to share a recent experience I had with UA.

I travelled from SFO to DEN and I had a great trip.

Our flight was very full and I was the last to get on.

The agent offered me a middle seat with a beautiful smile.

The flight was on-time and the flight attendents were extremely polite. The flight wasn't even that bumpy!

I got 7up and the lady next to me ordered a tomato juice. The 7up was very tasty.

When I got off the plane my baggage was at the luggage carousel.

Happy flying!

Sounds like a good day. Just one of those days when everything goes smooth. I used to fly a lot non-rev on TWA and now I do it on AA. I remember this one flight on a AA 757 from MBJ to JFK where mother, sister, and I got the last seat on the airplane in first class. My dad and uncle had to stay back till the next day. When the airplane took off there was not a cloud in the sky and the pilot kept saying "Its days like this where you really enjoy flying." It was smoothest flight I ever had coming back from Jamaica. Usually going down to Jamaica is smooth but coming back can get rocky.

Quoting JoePatroni (Thread starter):

Joe, do you work for UA? What gave you the urge to post? I guess it is promising to hear that there is a soul out there who flew non-rev on UA and had a good experience.

The good ol' days of non-rev. Pray until your ear pops, and you're good to go ...
