JFK-JNB, I think this is one of the longest in the world. SAA flies non-stop daily using a 747-400, flight time is 14:35.

The longest non-stop flight from San Diego (SAN) is American's daily 737-800 service to Boston. The longest direct service is British Airways daily 744 service to London (Gatwick), through Phoenix.

From Mexico City iys probably a tie between BA's daily MEX-LHR, and LH daily MEX-FRA, both with 747-400s.

Longest direct flight is JAL's MEX-YVR-NRT, 4x a week.

From Oslo airport Gardermoen there is three long haul flights carrying pax, but I don't know which one is the longest. SAS flies daily to Newark, PIA twice a week to Pakistan (Karachi, Islambad, Lahore, depends on which day) or Iran Air to Tehran via Larnaca. We also had Northwest to San Fransisco via Minneapolis/St.Paul .

Cargo is BA world Cargo/Atlas Air to Osaka via Anchorage.

The longest inbound flight is Korean Air KE91, nonstop from Seoul. The longest outbound is probably Olympic Air flight 43?.

Sydney-Paris (via SIN, total elapsed time 23:00#)
Sydney-NewYork (via LAX, total elapsed time 22:00 westbound#)
Sydney-Toronto (via HNL, total elapsed time 21:30 westbound#)
Sydney-Johannesburg (via PER,HRE, total elapsed time 20:25#)
Sydney-BuenosAires (via AKL, total elapsed time 14:45#)

(several of the routes are operated by more than one carrier e.g. SYD-LAX by QF, UA, NZ....however the quoted times are from the respective airlines timetable)

Here in Tucson Delta flies twice daily to Cincinati, at my other home airport, Phoenix Sky Harbor is the daily BA service to Gatwick, hopefully soon to be surpassed by daily Lufthansa flights to Frankfurt.

Oslo Airport (OSL)

Longest scheduled flight is either Oslo-Newark on SAS B767-300 or Oslo-Karachi via Islamabad or Lahore on Pakistan Airlines (PIA) A310 or B747-300.

Northwest Airlines used to have the longest route from Oslo-San Fransisco via Minneapolis/St. Paul on a DC10-40.

However, the longest routes today are probably charter flights like; Oslo-Phuket (Thailand) on Premiair (DC10-10/A330-200) or Britannia (B767-300), Oslo-Natal (Brazil) on Britannia (B767-300) or Oslo-Cancun (Mexico) on Premiair (DC10-10/A330-200) or Novair (A330-200/Lockheed-Tristar).

Longest freighter service on Atlas Air B747-400, Oslo-Anchorage-Osaka.

From Helsinki, it's one of Finnair's Far-East routes; either to SIN (via BKK), NRT or KIX, but not PEK.

About KIX and beside the point: I thought they got rid of this service, but now they're apparently running it with a 757. There is one stopover, does anyone know where that is? Seems weird to me to fly such a long route with a tiny 757.

Also, it wasn't listed as a "holiday flight" (a Finnair fancy word for a seasonal charter), but I believe it is anyway, since the 757s are used for this purpose only. I also highly doubt the profitability of an economy-only scheduled service, especially such a "thin" one a long route as HEL-KIX. Would someone shed light on this oddity?

From Port of Spain (POS) the longest flight is to LHR, flown daily by BWIA using L-1011-500s. The flight stops once; 3 times weekly the stop is Barbados (BGI), twice weekly St. Lucia (UVF) and twice weekly Antigua (ANU). The total flight time is some 10 hours. At holiday times the route to Gatwick is served by charters such as Britannia (767-300) and Monarch (767) nonstop.

LGW is however served by BA from Tobago (TAB), our other local airport, using 777s. This route is nonstop and is thus the longest nonstop flight from this country.

Longest daily pax flight I know of from CLE is to LGW, Continental Airlines.
We also have a Sunworld flight CLE to CUN, but I'm not sure if that's as far as LGW.
I don't know about cargo. We do have a FedEx A300 and a UPS DC-8, but I'm not sure where they go.

YEG (Edmonton International, Alberta) has its longest passenger route to Warsaw, Poland using LOT 767s. However, this service is seasonal - it flies this route only during the summer.

The longest domestic passenger route is from YEG to YOW (Ottawa, Ontario - the Canadian province, not the city in California!), using Canadian 737-200s. Until recently, this route was flown on Air Canada A320s.

Actually, YEG-YUL(Montreal Dorval) is really the longest domestic nonstop flight out of Edmonton (YEG), using Canadian 737-200s. This route was only recently started this year. but YEG-YOW was the longest domestic route for years, until the new YEG-YUL route came up.

From ORF, the longest non-stop is Continental's 2x daily to IAH--1042 nautical miles--on a 735.

The longest direct is Delta's 1x daily to SFO through ATL--2307 nautical miles--on a 757.

In looking this up, I was very surprised to see that DL has a direct to SFO from measly little ORF, on a 757 nonetheless!
