Kitty Hawk International, formerly American International Airways, may be sold back to the former owner Connie Kalitta. the now bankrupt K.H. International, is said to be selling back one 747-200F(N712CK) to Kalitta and the new name will be "Kitty Hawk Air". The DC8's and 10-11's are not expected to be operated by the new airline, which will operate with a Part 121 certificate. Jeff

Connie was very upset over the demise of Kittyhawk International.

He was upset because of the way the crews were treated. They were given absolutely no notice of the impending shutdown. The crews were told to bring the planes back to YIP and to go home.

He has always taken care of his crews.
