That's the way it's done.
Not that easy over here. You cannot simply lay off people without pqay and ask them to come back when needed, like it's done in the States.
The 250 qualified jobs are permament and the other 750 are hired from companies like Manpower or SAdeco, where these people are permanently employed. Airbus signes a cpontract with these companies and the provide the manpower for the contracted time.
That's all. No lay offs. The Power 8 is a completely different ball game.These up to 10000 jobs willbe made redundant by selling the factories where they work to investors. The people will still work there and even for Airbus, but no longer as Airbus employees. Other jobs will be made redundant by natural atrition, and if nothing helps the rest will get severance payments or will be featherbedded in other ways.
