Is 5G actually planning on having some corporate identity by putting there livery on this bird or is it gonna be the ridiculous hybrid VZ/5G mix that we all know and love???  Yeah sure

I'm sure it's going to be the hybrid. I personally hate it. It's a little gross looking. But she is a beauty on the insode for both pax and crew.

I miss the paint we had on C-FBUS. Now that was a nice c/s.

Don't count on full paint, but it's a nice thought. Depends if it has the ground time, and a lot of everything has to do with $$$$. It's a business right! Plus, It's the same c/s as the Tour Operators Sunquest and Alba Tours. They are part of My Travel North America so I don't think they mind it at all. Still a little too orange for me.

Hey,

The old Skyservice paint on C-FBUS was the best. They should of kept that scheme. But I guess they are never uniform when it comes to their fleet.

Hey,

Would it make it on time for the Friday flight to VCE and FCO? I saw a seat map of it, and class superiore has 66 inches of seat pitch with a 2-3-2 configuration. Sounds very spacious to me.

Is the whole cabin being refitted with Skyservice seats? Surely this is not necessary for a short term lease? I can understand adjusting teh seat pitch, etc, but a whole new seat of seats? That must be awfully expensive, unless MYT are planning to refurbish the seats while they are out of service?
Next flights: MAN-ORK-LHR(EI)-MAN(BD); MAN-LHR(BD)-ORK (EI); DUB-ZRH-LAX (LX) LAX-YYZ (AC) YYZ-YHZ-LHR(AC)-DUB(BD)

Thanks for the pics. I think just the class superiore seats are Skyservice seats. Not sure about the economy cabin.

the seats on the 330 are the usual cloth seats between MYT and SSV. surpurised that they haven't changed them to the leather as the rest of the fleet that comes over from MYT has leather seats. the first class seats are going to be installed when VKI arrives. Still over in Manchester as there were many broken seats in it, funny same thing they told us last year. What in gods name do the passengers do over there with the plane?!?!?! WOW they were tellin us LOTS of broken seats. The first class this year will have 66" of pitch. Gonna be real nice. Just miss the mid galley as it makes a huge conjestion in the back galley with 8 FA's working out of there. I agree I wish they would have painted the 330 in our house colors. or at least toned down the Orange. If we changed it to Red as an offical skyservice colour I think that would look soooo much better. But orange?? who in gods name though to put that on a beautiful 330?? :P

Thats awesome. I will definately be going on it to POS and the good thing is that the tour operator does not charge for the big seats, so its first come first serve.

So I didn't make it on this plane when it was delivered to YYZ, but I hear she's got all leather seats now. NICE!

I'm flying on her a few times this month. I'll take pics to post.

Does not have all leather seats...only Clase Superiore has them, and it is almost pointless...there is way to much leg room in J Class, it is pointless as the seats hardly recline...looks pretty cool to see a 5G plane like that, but all that space wasnt needed.

Is it gone next fall, or will it be kept for winter ops?
One other thing:

Quoting BWIA330 (Reply 17):

Is this referring to the Clase Superior seats as no extra charge, or are the economy seats extra wide? And secondly, what is the capacity?

Oh that really sucks, I thought the seats were almost lying flat due to the 66 inches legroom. Can any post some interior shots.

Hey,

The tour operator for the YYZ-POS flights is Titan Tours. They arent charging for class superiore on these flights as it is a first come first serve basis. Im not sure exactly how many seats in J class, I believe its somewhere around 30 or so.

BWIA330

You are right about the leather seats. I had a chat with one of the crew members who did the VCE-FCO-YYZ and she said that it was only the J seats that were leather.

Too bad about the recline...hope this gets fixed.

VKI is not sked to stay with us after October  Sad

Hey,

Thanks for the pics. I guess that was the Monday Run to PUJ? So how much do these J class seats actually recline? Are they very comfortable? I just booked my POS flight for the 21st of Aug. Look forward to flying on her.

They don't recline much at all. The upgrade for the seat on a southern turnaround is $50 each way, and $299 each way for Italy.

I don't know how comfy they are as I only sat in it to test the recline. I was only in it for 5sec. lol

Yep, the purple Skyservice c/s were gorgeous. By the way, why did they stop flying to Orlando?

I think they have two 757s now right? The one in the maestro stripes and the other one is?

3 X 757-200

TDV - Signature Vacations
FAN - Sunques
MYH - Conquest Vacations (ex. Sunwing & Mistro)

As for the drop in MCO, ask Conquest Vacations.

Skyservice is also operating 1 757 (C-GTBB) in DUB for FCA. There are two A320's (C-GTDG and C-GTDH) operating for FCA in BFS and CWL. There is also another A320 (C-GTDP) operating for XL France out of Lille. Essentially half the fleet in Canada, the rest is operating under Canadian registration overseas, while the remainder of the aircraft were de-registered as per usual and being operated under British registration by either FCA or MYT. The Conquest aircraft have left the fleet; the A319's going to Skybus and the sole A320 (C-GTDP) going to Spring Airlines in China.
