Also highly commended was BA's site:

The runners up were:

The winner and all of the runner-ups are British  scratchchin  Hm....

I do have to agree with the recommendation of British Airways' site though. It is very easy to use and look things up. It epitomizes functionality.

I'm not as fond of the asian airlines' sites though.

On the U.S. side, I think Continental also has a very easy to navigate site, with plethora of information.

Nowadays, I think there are way too many such awards/rankings etc.

For instance, easyJet's official website was named UK's favourite travel website by Hitwise recently. ( More details at http://en.carnoc.com/list/2/2341.html )

Nonetheless, congrt. to those award winners!

Regards.

I think these awards are UK-only. The "blogger" says that it is "Part of the Travolution media brand in the UK." On a quick glance the only nominee I saw that wasn't a UK brand was SN Brussels Airlines.

To me CO and AA have the best websites. I find that I am more used to AA so perhaps i have a bias preferring it to CO's one, but those two are definitely the best!

In the UK, i think BA is a good website, EasyJet isn't to bad, easy to find what you want and prices can be gained rather quickly for flights. In the US, have only used continental and have been impressed with it. It may be easier to diferentiate the worst web sites - i think my vote has to be with Ryanair.ie - very unprofessional looking, but this is only my opinion of course.

I think NW's site has a good visual feel to it. It bugs me that I can't find the expiration date for my miles, though. (Or do their miles not expire?)

Overall I'm partial to TZ's website. But there may be a reason for that mentioned in my profile

WN's website seems to have been revamped recently. A big improvement. Although it would be nice if the "contact us" page had some kind of email address that people could send questions/comments to, in addition to the phone number and postal address.
