This is a article I was emailed at work. I thought alot of you would like to know this but Federal Express will have 747-200 and 747-400s cargo aircraft in it's fleet. You could read it for your selfs.
Atlas Air Signs Contract With Federal Express
GOLDEN, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 12, 1998--Atlas Air, Inc. (NYSE:CGO - news) announced today that it has entered into a standard ACMI agreement with Federal Express Corporation (NYSE:FDX - news) for the lease of two Atlas 747-400 freighters and one Atlas 747-200 freighter.
Service provided under this contract will begin in the fourth quarter of this year.

Chowdry, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Atlas Air. ``Atlas has been having discussions with FedEx as a potential customer since our decision to purchase the ultra long-range, high-payload 747-400F. The 747 is uniquely suited to the global route structures of international operators such as FedEx.''
Under the terms of this contract, Atlas will provide FedEx with the aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance (ACMI) for airport-to-airport international airfreight services for a guaranteed number of operating hours each month. Federal Express does not operate any 747 freighters.
