Isle Of Man Registered Aircraft

Thu May 03, 2007 2:22 am

On 1 May 2007, the Isle of Man created its own aircraft registry, these being prefixed M-

M-ELON and M-BWFC are amongst the first two registrations and doubtless many more will follow and gain attractive tax benefits alongside decent regulation. No doubt, most of the registrations will be assigned to corporate aircraft.

The Isle of Man, situated between the UK and Ireland, is not within the EU although the UK does look after foreign relations for the island.
