B6 @ SFO Int'l Term A-Why?

When I was at SFO in Early March, the Airtrain showed Jetblue at Terminal 1? It looks like Jetblue will not be using T1 but Int'l Term A. Was there a last minute problem with gate space at T1, or the listing an error? Aren't International gates expensive in general? Don't get me wrong I was in both T1, and the Int'l terminal and the IT was so much better but still I think that Jetblue would want to minimize costs and take space in T1 if available? Was ITA the only space avail?

for some reason that is where all the new carriers start. I remember when AirTran started they were in the Int'l terminal (A terminal in fact) and the same thing with Spirit (by the way does Spirit still serve SFO?) SO i guess until they can see how their ops go they'll use the Int'l terminal. Hopefully they can get the old int'l terminal up and running and get all those LCC's into there. That would be a site to see. WN next to B6, next to FL next to Virgin America.
