No way is it happening now...the fleet is stretched out thin over the summer and they can't send a 332 over to YUL. Plus for security reasons I don't think it would happen now.

Just heard from Mr. Hout that MEA will be starting BEY-Montreal in the summer. I am not sure if I heard correctly, but can anyone confirm?
Quoting FLYYUL (Reply 5):
No way that could possibly happen.... the reason why Egyptair and Royal Jordanian fly to YUL is to feed BEY.
Quoting EurostarVA (Reply 1):
If it's true, this calls for a celebration! Let's pop open a champagne bottle! This route is LONG, LONG overdue.
Quoting BA (Reply 6):
MEA does not coordinate its operations with Egyptair or Royal Jordanian, so it's irrelevant that they serve YUL to feed BEY.
Also, AF and LH offer much better connections and at higher frequencies than MS and RJ.
Quoting AH332 (Reply 7):
The amount of North/African and Middle Eastern immigrants in the Ottawa-Montreal-Sherbrooke/Quebec City area is huge.
Quoting FLYYUL (Reply 10):
Does MEA have the right to fly to Canada? if Air Canada isnt allowed access to Beirut from Montreal, then how does MEA obtain this status.
I thinlk this thread is pure heresay
