Aircraft That You Have Flown The Most On...

Wed Aug 02, 2000 8:50 am

I just want to know what aircraft you have flown on the most, if its the 737 i wont be surprised. My most frequent bird would be the 757-200 which i have flown 6 times.

United ORD-EWR
Delta ORD-ATL
Delta ATL-ORD
United IAD-ORD
United ORD-MCO
Delta SLC-ORD

The best of all these flights was Delta #1172 SLC-ORD even though i was in seat 42A.

Believe it or not, my first 737 flight was only 11 days ago. It was an American Airlines 737-800 on the route BOS-ORD. See what the world has come to? My first 737 was an -800!

DC-9 for sure, maybe fifty times. MD-80 will probably soon overtake the DC-9. But last time I counted it was 26 different types. And then I have never been on a DC-10, MD-11, 767, 777, L-1101, CV-880/-990, Il-86/-96, F-28/-100, VC-10 or One-Eleven. Not even a Concorde.
#27 will most likely be a DC-3, built in 1944.

ILUV767- the 737-222 and 737-291 are both United 737s, so youre pretty cheap if you count those as 2 different types.

I grew up in an American Airlines family. I am so sick of the MD-80!! I have probably 300+ flights in my lifetime on them.

I won't post my flight log here, but you can look at it by clicking here. Geocities has been having some problems tonight, so if the page doesn't load for you, just try again later...

Definetly the 737. I have flown the -200, -300, -500, and -700 series. The next would have to be the MD-8X. I have flown those frequently on American.

I have flown on AAs A300-600 and 763ER. These are the aircraft they utilize for travel to the Dominican Republic which is the destination I often travel to.

Otherwise I've flown 727-200s and MD80s. Ohh and I once flew on a US Air 737-300.

The 747. Even if you don't count the classics or the 744combi, it'd still be the plane i've flown on the most.

Second most would be all variants of the 767.

The 777 by far. I have flown seven flights on it and will fly my eighth in four days (I am in the middle of a trip now).  Unfortunately, my last flight was delayed 5 hours because of maintenence and weather at ORD, but the flight was fun all the same.

mine must be AA's MD-11s

my usual route is dfw-mia-eze (now a 777 was MD-11), but my secondary route is dfw-scl-eze (now a MD-11 was 767)

I have flown the bird on other routes, such as; dfw-nrt, dfw-lgw, dfw-mia, and some others that have sliped my mind at this moment.

I must have flown her about 10-15 times, and the MD has never taken off on time on any of these flights! i have experienced 2 aborted take-offs and one aborted landing on her. I have also never flown her in coach

I think mine is the A321 which I have flown a couple of times on the STR-FRA-STR route and also on the FRA-LIS leg.
Other than that my number two would be the B757-200 and the B747-400.

According to my username, you should figure out what it is that I've been on the most. I've flown on that one many times, mostly between BRU, JFK and ORD. With Amrican, which is what I fly the most, I've been on every aircraft type that they have except the 737-800.

Now I'm gonna tell you what I've been on with other airlines within the last seven years of my life:

British Airways: B737-400 and B757
British Midland: B737-500
Delta: B727, B757, B767-300ER and L1011
Egypt Air: A300, A320/A321 and B747-300
Sabena: B737-500 and B747-300
South African: A300 and B747-200/300/400
United: B727, B737-200, B747-100, B757 and B767-300ER
Virgin Express: B737-300

Definatley the 727. I used to fly to Pittsburg alot from Denver in the 80's on USAir, United, and American and it was almost always a 727. By far my favorite looking aircraft.

Widebody:
L1011 TriStar, about 10-15 times, mostly on LTU and DL.
Standardbody:
A319/320/321 all series, about 30-40 times, mostly Air France, Swissair and Northwest.
B737 all series except -100 and -600, about 30-40 times, mostly Air France and Continental.
Turboprop:
Beech 1900D, about 10 times, all CO Express. Nice little airplane!

Except for the TriStar, I can't really say I have a real favorite here.

This is just an observation, but how many posters here actually read the original question which was....."Which aircraft have you flown on the most ?"

Many of you have listed "every" aircraft that you have been on....thus diluting the intented result of the original post.

No offence meant here people.....just a point.

I have flown the "most" on the Airbus A320.

AA/CO DC-10

Thu Aug 03, 2000 11:12 pm

Every year I fly to HI to visit my family on AA(DC-10, usually through ORD), and to Europe in the summer(CO DC-10, LGW, CDG, FRA, AMS, etc...). Unforunately the CO flts were at the time when they didn't have as many 777s, but on Nov 17th, I'll be flying back to Paris with my family for Thanksgiving. I don't know what flt I'll be on, but if I'm lucky, I'll be on the inaugural flt of the 767-400ER!
