The lone 733 left the fleet there last year, leaving 6 735s. I guess they'll also cycle their fleet through maintenance over the summer.

Porter has capitalized on the Canjet domestic withdrawal by adding 2 daily YHZ-YOW and 2 daily YHZ-YUL flights this summer.
A brilliant move on their part. WestJet could have jumped on this, but unstrategically decided YYT
with 1/20th the O&D traffic compared to YUL
would be a better use of aircraft resources. I saw Deluce speak at a conference I was at a couple of weeks ago and he said YHZ
bookings are strong. He also said surprisingly and it was to his surprise as well that so far the YHZ
traffic is split almost equally between YTZ
. I would have thought it would be more like a 30 YTZ
split. I guess there is a sizeable market willing to fly a bit longer with a stop to/from Toronto in order to avoid YYZ
and/or save a few $.
