Specialists argue that China is too far to go for a beach holiday.
Great specialists. I wonder what they'll say about people travelling to Malaysia, Southern Thailand and Bali

i was due to take this holiday at the end of august, and id booked and paid etc. then i got a phone call about 3 weeks ago saying that they wanted £300 more otherwise they wouldn't be able to offer the holiday to me.
I wouldn't be that disappointed if I was you, unless you were booked on Mariott/Hilton in Yalong Bay, and was total fine with staying inside the premises for the entire vacation. The rest is basically just crap (having only stayed in "the rest" myself). There is no atmosphere at all, and the people visiting seem to behave even more inappropriate than Europeans (I won't go to specific
) charter tourists in Spain.
Indeed they do. And tonnes of other weirdo noise-making beach activities. A beach bar can be hard to find though, and the Hainan price level is ridiculously high compared to the rest of China.
Another available banana, is a 70-80 meter high grotesque ugly Buddha statue in the middle of the water - if you are lucky, you can see it from the approach to SYX, if not, just forget it
Well, as you can see, I'm not a My Travel sales guy, which I guess could have explained the empty flights...
Last flight: SAW-CPH on H9 on 02/11/09 - Next Flights: 23/12/09 CPH-AAL on QI, 30/12/09 CPH-LHR on SK, 19/01/10 CPH-CDG-
